A young hero still finding his way
Spider-Duck brings together Spider-Man and Huey Duck in a playful, slightly unexpected portrait. Huey appears dressed as the web-slinging hero, standing alone beneath an open sky and looking as though he is still getting used to his new role.
Pop Symbiosis began as a playful response to the mergers between major film and entertainment companies. As previously separate fictional universes came to coexist under the same corporate ownership, the series imagined their characters merging too, creating new identities and contemporary myths.
In Spider-Duck, Spider-Man’s sense of responsibility meets Huey Duck’s youthful personality, creating a figure who feels curious, uncertain and ready for adventure — a hero still discovering what he can become.
