Wonder Granny brings together Wonder Woman and Granny in a portrait that treats strength, age and humour as natural allies. Wearing the Amazon warrior’s armour and crossing her bracers in a familiar defensive pose, Granny looks completely at home in the role of a superhero.
Pop Symbiosis takes inspiration from the mergers between major film and entertainment companies. As once-separate fictional universes came together under shared corporate ownership, the series began imagining visual fusions between the characters themselves.
Wonder Woman’s courage and authority meet Granny’s calm confidence, sharp wit and years of experience. Rather than making her younger, the painting lets experience itself become the superpower — a playful reminder that heroism has no age limit.
